ABOUT MICHAEL & CHRISTINA PERRON:

There’s something that makes you stop and take notice of Michael and Christina Perron. It’s the way they approach relationships with inherent honesty, love and candor that distinguishes them.

Michael’s inspiring story of “having it all, losing it all and finding God” has touched and transformed hundreds of DFW-area Christians. Michael grew to national prominence in the 1990’s with ESPN’s “Co-Ed Training” television show and Time Warner’s “Abs of Steel” video. That experience gave him access to a fast-paced world and pop culture. As a drug addict, he soon learned that a battle for his life was occuring; he reached out for help and found freedom from pain and addiction in Christ. Sober for 10 years, Michael now shares his experiences with others and lights a path for those looking for a deeper relationship with God by eliminating outside dependences, in whatever form they take. An ordained minister, prior to starting Summit Life Church, Michael served as Prestonwood Baptist Church’s Single Adult Minister (with over 900 individuals) and as the leader for the church’s “Celebrate Recovery” program. Michael says,“Each day is another opportunity to assist others in taking steps toward personal transformation. If I can share my story and illuminate a darkened world with the message of Christ’s healing, then I have been a humble servant.”

Christina ministers to countless women about creating loving, supportive relationships, about confidence issues and overcoming their past issues through discovering their true identity in Christ.

Together, Michael and Christina are parents to two miracle children: Isabella, whom doctors predicted would never be conceived naturally; and Grayson, a recent brain-tumor surgery survivor. “Our faith alone walked us through these trials”, says Christina.
